The ZURN 65 blends traditional and practical sailing qualities with advanced modern construction techniques to provide a moderately light and nimble yacht on which to adventure far offshore in comfort.

First and foremost she has a powerful hull, appendages, and sail plan to get to where you’re headed quickly and safely. Easy sail handling and a flexible sail plan are accommodated with dual head stay arrangement for self-tacking working Jib and reaching genoa. Asymmetrical spinnakers can be set off the retractable bowsprit.  Headsail halyard winches are on the mast while the (2) spinnaker halyards, main halyard and reef lines are lead aft to the cockpit.  A double-ended main sheet is just aft of the helmsman. Ventilation is provided to the cabin below through six Dorade vents and six overhead hatches. There is a large Lazarette aft and forepeak locker forward, which may be assessed through a watertight door in the forward shower. All hull ports are fixed.  A swim platform is incorporated into the transom.

Interior accommodations are functional and can be finished however the client wishes. Starting forward are the guest/children's cabins with opposing hi/low berths and shared head and shower. This arrangement includes a centerline pocket door that merged the two cabins into one when open. The salon incorporates a port and starboard settee with a centerline table. To port is entertainment and to starboard a delivery pilot berth. Up one step and aft is the "great room".

The amidships Galley to port is appropriately equipped with everything one needs including a trash compactor. Starboard is a dual-purpose enclosed helm station/opposing settee.  Great game table or convenient place to keep the chef company or help with the preparations: all while having clear views of the happenings outside.  There is a day head just aft to starboard and a wet locker just inboard of that at the bottom of the companionway.

One step down is the corridor to the aft Owners Stateroom.  This "working" corridor incorporates a large pantry and tool locker immediately aft of the galley.  Further aft is another delivery berth which doubles as a workbench or day bag stowage area for occasional day guests.  Inboard are AC/DC panels in addition to access doors for quick inspection of the engine and generator fuel filters.  Just aft is a high/lo washer and dryer combo unit.

The Owners Cabin aft has a king size berth, his and hers bureaus and hanging lockers. Their ensuite head incorporates a separate stall shower.  Large doors provide walk in access to the engine and generator spaces.
