What started quite humbly on a cocktail napkin as an alternative to the staid design of the major manufacturers is now brought to life and offers unmatched capabilities in her class. The Salish Sea 48 is a vessel designed for family-centered enjoyment with a clean and elegant design which masterfully blends both the traditional and contemporary styling.

With a moderate length-to-beam ratio, carefully designed running bottom, and efficient propulsion system, Zurn Yacht Design has ensured a smooth, comfortable ride. Lightweight composites and joiner materials keep this accommodating motor yacht light and nimble, giving her the agility of a boat half her size.

The “tailgate” transom, low–profile fly bridge, drop-down windows, and retractable awning maximize utility without compromising beauty. The roomy interior will sleep 8, something you would only expect in a larger vessel. The layout has been designed around the up and aft galley allowing for an open layout that is family friendly by maximizing space on the main deck and providing a 360-degree view. The staterooms include a full-width master and two guest suites. Overhead hatches, port lights, and cowl vents offer natural lighting and ventilation while a 3-zone air-conditioner with reverse-cycle heat, 24VDC lighting, and two complete heads provide additional comfort.

The Salish Sea 48 represents new thinking in a yacht designed with the demanding environment of the Pacific Northwest in mind by integrating modern infused-composite boatbuilding techniques with the latest propulsion technology.
